Simple, Affordable Skincare Routine

Simple, Affordable Skincare Routine

Let's get this out there, I'm not a professional. At all! However, I do love to test & read about new products. And since I recently turned 28, I'm really into skincare. It may or may not have to do with the fact that I'm approaching 30. Oooph!

The best part of these skincare goodies is that they're all under $30ish!

This product breakdown is all based off my first hand experience. Please do your research and base your choices off your own skin type, allergies etc.

My skin type: combination, acne prone

1. Hyaluronic Acid & Ferulic Acid

OK, so this product is a GAME CHANGER!

I randomly learned about the awesome-ness of Hyaluronic Acid in an Anti-Aging Skincare Routine on Youtube. If you get a chance check out the video, it's super informative!

All I have to say is that Hyaluronic Acid makes you look younger, after a week of using I noticed the crow's feet that we're creeping up on me vanished. Yes, vanished! This stuff is amazing, it plumps, moisturizes, and removes fine lines. What more could you want.

I grabbed this one on clearance at a local TJ Maxx for $5.

2. E.raorganics Complete

I found this product in my search for a natural & effective organic moisturizer and it's perfect! I love this stuff, it moisturizes without being greasy and I know the ingredients aren't harmful. Not to mention my skin still feels moisturizes 8-10 hours later.

When you initially apply this moisturizer it smells a little off but the smell wears off in a few seconds.

3. Skinceuticals Sheer Physical SPF

So after years about avoiding SPF, I've finally come around to making sure I use some kind of SPF everyday. No matter what! Because I've heard so many stories about other SPFs I researched and make sure to only use physical sunscreen so no yucky chemicals get absorbed into my skin.

I used this on our recent trip to Hawaii where the sun is intense and I didn't get sunburnt which to me means that it works! It's also tinted which is awesome for those days when you don't feel like applying makeup.

Don't forget your SPF!

4. Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask

I can't say enough good things about this mask! Apart from being really cheap (only $10) it's effective. If you heard about this mask before, it's for good reason. When you apply it to your face, it immediately starts tingling which means its removing all the toxins from your skin.  The mask starts to tighten around your face which is a good indication to remove the mask or else it may be a little painful. I use this on a monthly or weekly basis if I'm having a rough week with my skin.

5. Samples, Samples and More Samples!

Samples are you're best friend! Trust me, skincare can be expensive but it doesn't have to be. I love to get skincare samples when I buy make up because it lets me try really expensive product for free and I get to choose the products I want to invest in without feeling guilty of the price because you've already tried out the product!

I know skincare may not be the biggest priority in your life but it's still possible to have amazing skin & save money.
