5 beauty favorites of the month-January

Hey babes!

I’m back with one of my favorite topics-BEAUTY.

So I’ve radically changed my skincare and by radical, I’ve actually been sticking to a routine. I used to just slap on moisturizer and hope that I didn’t get wrinkles or a pimple. And you know what, it wasn’t working… surprise.. surprise.

Alot of my favorites for this month are skincare related, sprinkled in with a few beauty items. Let’s dive in!

elemis facial collagen face oil
  1. Kypris Antioxidant Dew Quench & Glow Serum- OK, this stuff is REALLY good. I’m not sure what sorcery they put in this little bottle but it’s the only product that has given me the dewy look without looking like a glittery/sweaty mess. It gives my skin this youthful radiance that is especially lovely when you don’t feel like doing your makeup.

Quick tip: Always layer thinnest skincare products first then move to heavier products. Like Toner, Serum, Moisturizer, Oils & SPF.

  2. Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil-Wrinkles.. goodbye. Welcome, luscious, plump skin. This rose facial oil is perfection. It has the loveliest fragrance (may be too much for those who don’t like fragranced skincare) but it makes me feel fancy & like I’m surrounded by 1 million roses. I have noticed a difference in my overall skin bounciness & less wrinkles. Although it’s hard to tell which part of my skincare regimen is doing its work. Most importantly, it dries quickly so your face isn’t sticking to your pillow as you drift off into dreamland.

  3. It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under-eye Full coverage Anti-Aging Concealer-Can you see the anti-aging trend? ahahah This girl is fighting aging like no tomorrow. This little concealer does pack a punch. It’s full coverage without being cakey & gross. I like to use it when I’m not really putting on a foundation and just want to cover up my dark eye circles. Also, it’s waterproof so it would be ideal for crying situations or underwater. Whichever of the two fits your lifestyle.. ahhaha.

  4. Petite n’ Pretty Fully Feathered Volumizing Mascara-I haven’t met a mascara I didn’t like but this little baby has blown all others out of the water! It hits all the features I look for in a mascara: volumizing, lengthening & separation. The formula is a bit liquid-y but that’s my only gripe, other than that it makes my lashes super long, volumized and doll like.

Pears bar soap-Random, right?! Not at all! I’ve been loving doing a Soap Brow for my unkempt & bushy brows. You can’t just use any bar soap, you have to make sure you buy a clear bar soap. Not a white one. This is one I got at the Dollar store for $1. Don’t go out and buy expensive Soap brow products. A simple clear glycerin based soap will do! I spray a little water on it to wet it, brush my spooli to pick up product and brush UP on my brows. It makes for perfect Model Bushy brows.

Look at those bushy brows! Leave them alone, don’t pluck is my best advice!
