BoxyCharm-Is it worth it?

featuredAraceli V.Comment

I'm super excited to write this post! I LOVE anything beauty related, I blame YouTube. I've spent endless hours {a little more than I'd care to admit} watching Beauty YouTube tutorials.

Watching so many beauty tutorials, I realized buying new beauty products can get overwhelming and not to mention super expensive. Until I came across BoxyCharm {thanks, Sister In Law!}. It's probably the best subscription box I've ever had. Yup, hands down.

I've tried them all. From Ipsy Glam Bag, Allure Beauty Box to Sephora Play and they are nothing like BoxyCharm.

Here's a few reasons I LOVE BoxyCharm:

Full Size products!

All the other subscription boxes I've tried out include sample sizes in their boxes. When I actually stopped to think about the fact that I was paying for samples, I immediately canceled my subscriptions. I could just get samples for free when I bought at Sephora or Ulta. It just doesn't make sense to pay for samples.

Variety

I love that I get to try new & trending beauty products. Every month they add something different. For example, one month they included a Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion face skin exfoliant, along with two Make Up Geek shadows. And the next month they included Smashbox Primer and a Crown Fan Brush. Another time they sent the super popular Ofra Rodeo Drive Highlighter {eyes are bulging at this point} Isn't that crazy?

Value

So this is one of the main reasons why  haven't unsubscribed to this subscription box. The value is incredible. The monthly box costs $21 per month, every month they include 5 full-sized items bringing that to an average of $4.20 per item. Of course alot of these items cost more than that, the Dr. Brandt skin exfoliant I mentioned retails for $79.99 at Sephora alone. I don't know how they manage to give such high value products for such an accessible price. I'm not complaining though!

I want to make sure I'm as transparent as possible for all my savvy shopper as well so I put together a small list of things I wish would improve and general things that are unavoidable.

Here's a few GRIPES I have with BoxyCharm:

Shipping Time

I love me some instant gratification... who doesn't!? So I was caught off guard a little when I've been receiving my BoxyCharms 2-3 weeks from time of shipping notification. It's a little sad knowing I have to wait that long to get my hands on all those goodies but it has taught me a little self control & patience in the process.. so there's that. hahhaha!

I really have no other complaints other than slow shipping.
